This is a portrait of my mother-in-law and her two eldest grandsons at her home in Enfield, North London.

Exhibited at the 2005 BP Portrait Awards in the National Portrait Gallery, London (voted the public’s favourite), Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens and the Scottish, National Portrait Gallery, Edinburgh.

It was subsequently selected for the ‘Work, Rest and Play’ Touring Exhibition from January to April 2007 at the National Gallery, London, Laing Art Gallery, Newcastle and Bristol Museum and Art Gallery. Gran Turismo is now owned by Bristol Museum and Art Gallery and is on permanent display at MShed, Bristol and features on the Art UK website.
